I had never heard of wire ties, which meant I had never heard of plastic wire ties.

I knew what wire hangers were. I knew plastic hangers were better for your clothes than wire hangers were. I naturally figured that plastic wire ties were just something that held other plastic pieces together. I went to a garage sale last week, and they had wire dress forms there. The woman told me that when she was closing her mother’s house; they found four different sized wire dress forms in the attic. I stood there trying to decide if I wanted to buy one of the wire dress forms, and the owner looked at me a bit critically. She told me that the wire dress form looked to be the same size as me. We stood there talking for a while and the idea of plastic coated wire ties popped into my head. I remembered my brother talking about plastic coated wire ties and I wondered if it had anything to do with these wire dress forms. Our last conversation had been about plastic coated wire ties and form wires, and I was getting confused. As far as I was concerned, they were probably as distant from each other as a man is from fish. It didn’t really matter because I still bought the wire dress form. I was hoping I could figure out how to use it to make myself a dress for a wedding that was coming up in a month. If not, I was planning a garage for after the wedding.
