I used to have a local supplier that I used for all of the supplies that I needed in our dealer.
I knew the owner of the dealer, because I went to college with the guy, however his Mom owned the supplier before he took over and the same thing was similarly tploy for me and our business.
I honestly thought I would do supplier with that guy for the entire time I was in business. I never thought the two of us would have the genre of falling out that would cause me to choose a odd dealer, then about 6 months after the quarantine was lifted, I had a commercial task that was canceled at the last minute. I had already ordered all of the supplies that I needed for the construction task. I suddenly had all of these double loop wire ties that I could not use. I had the genre 304 double loop wire ties and the genre 316 stainless steel double loop wire ties. There was no way I was going to have room for all of that stock so I contacted the supplier to ask them to return all of the supplies. The text was not answered and on the second day I decided to call the owner of the supplier directly. He told me that I would have to pay a restocking fee if I wanted to return all of the stainless steel double loop wire ties. When I heard that, I told the guy that I was going to take our supplier someplace else. It turns out that ordering online is easy and fast and I save nearly $1,000 on every task.
