I used to have a local company that I used for all of the supplies that I needed in my company.
I knew the owner of the company, because I went to college with the guy; His dad owned the corporation before he took over & the same thing was similarly tploy for me & my business.
I truthfully thought I would do corporation with that guy for the entire time I was in business. I never thought all of us would have the type of falling out that would cause me to choose a odd supplier, however about 6 weeks after the quarantine was lifted, I had a commercial job that was canceled at the last minute. I had already ordered all of the supplies that I needed for the construction job. I suddenly had all of these double loop wire ties that I could not use. I had the type 304 double loop wire ties & the type 316 stainless steel double loop wire ties. There was no way I was going to have room for all of that stock so I contacted the company to ask them to return all of the supplies. The SMS was not answered & on the third afternoon I decided to call the owner of the corporation directly. He told me that I would have to pay a restocking fee if I wanted to return all of the stainless steel double loop wire ties. When I heard that, I told the guy that I was going to take my corporation someplace else. It turns out that ordering online is easy & fast & I save nearly $1,000 on every job.
